Becca is doing really well today. She is working some physical therapy today, but she had a good night. I’m traveling today with the boys to visit mom. I will post more later.

We really didn’t hear much from the tests, but it appears they found another spot on her rib close to her spine. They don’t want to do anything with it yet other than monitor it.
She has learned how to roll over in bed now. We still put in the pillows, but she can do it herself. This is a big advancement. For those of you that don’t know, she is basically quadriplegic. She has to relearn just about everything. She does have feeling in her toes and fingers, so it’s just a matter of time for the swelling to decrease and have her regain mobility.
It seems for now they are talking about two weeks of physical therapy and then they will start the chemotherapy.
Please keep praying for strength for her. She really needs the help to get through the therapy.
The night was kind to her… thank goodness 🙂 Becca is in good spirits this morning. The Dr is supposed to come in and give us most of the test results. I can’t tell you enough how at peace I feel about moving her to the Huntsman. I know that this is the place we are suppose to be.
I will share the results later…
Becca is doing better this morning. We met with her new doctor who is a sarcoma expert last night and he was amazing. She has had a lot of tests today (he wants them done his way) just to make sure. So she may be a little tired today after all the scans.
Also, she probably won’t have any radiation, just straight chemo anmd physical therapy. Let’s keep praying for good test results and a speedy recovery. 🙂

Rebecca landed in SLC and has been transferred to the hospital safely. Rebecca did great! They are getting settled into their “five-star” room and everyone seems upbeat about the trip so far.
