Thursday Evening

You know, just when I thought we were going in the right direction… the oncologist visited us late today. We thought they were going to bring us the ‘final results’ of the tumor in her tail bone. Initial reports had come back that they thought it was benign. However, today they shared that they think it may be cancerous and might have to start radiation therapy in the next couple of days. They have sent (yet again) another sample to the Mayo Clinic for additional information. Granted, they are as frustrated as us, but I have to tell you, this is crazy. They are saying that the inflammation may not be MS again that it might be related to the tumor that was in her tail bone. Becca was also having a difficult day as they removed the line in her femoral artery. It bled a lot today as they have been giving her drugs with the blood treatments to keep it from clotting. She was also in a bit of pain from her incisions. Don’t get me wrong, she is still in good spirits, it’s just another one of those challenging days. We were looking forward to starting therapy on Monday.

So, where do we stand? In need of prayers. We will take this full force again, as I know she will be ok.

Randy,
I know it feels like you are really being tested, but keep your faith and stay strong. It’s hard to have faith and trust sometimes when the challenges are so big. We are all praying for your strength and Becca’s health. Hang in there!
