Day 121
Well, we met with the CDC today… good news/bad news. The good news is they know that she is getting better and the antibiotics are working. The bad news is they are going to keep her for another week. They were going to try and let her out now and have a home nurse keep giving the antibiotics, but she is getting too many of them and they don’t feel comfortable doing that at home.
So, the prayers are working. Becca is getting around the hospital room a little more and keeping food down, but for now she needs to rest 🙂
Keep the faith.

Hi Randy & Becca,
What a trying few weeks you guys have had, I’m so sorry to hear Becca has meningitis. I’ve had it and it is really stinky and the headaches are so very, very tough. Bless Becca’s heart-I wish we could all be there to give her a big group hug! I know she’d find humor in it and it would lift her spirits. So maybe we can channel those thoughts to her!??
Thank goodness for her fierce spirit and determination to beat this cancer. It sounds like since the tumor is shrinking- SHE IS WINNING. Now we pray that God will continue to give her the strength to win on all of these new battles. I will keep you first and foremost in my prayers. As always-Love you all, hugs & kisses ,
Sherry
We are continuing our thoughts and prayers daily for Rebecca, and your family. We know that our Heavenly Father won’t give us more than we can handle…boy does he sure think Rebecca can handle a lot! She’s an incredibly strong woman, and we are so proud to call her our friend. Please know that our family’s prayers are daily turned to thinking of you all, as well as with the doctors and nurses who are taking care of her.
Keep up the fight!
Evan & Cinta Stubbart
How we have missed our updates on how Becca is doing! Our home computer’s hard drive crashed three weeks ago and so we lost the link to the blog. We back online now and rejoicing to see that the tumor has shrunk. The girls were so happy! We love and think of you so much. We will pray that she will be able to rebound quickly from the meningitis. Know that we love all of you…Sherri Baxter
Becca my darling, I watch the Lord carry you through this journey. It is so difficult, but I know that when you look back on this 5 years from now you will wonder how you did it and you will realize that is was doctors, prayer, faith and a positive attitude. Let our strength carry you through the difficult time and know it will get better, even though it takes more time than we wish. Love ya, Susi
