Day 283

Becca is doing well today. She is still receiving IV fluids twice a day to help keep her kidney’s working. We just keep praying she can get through the next 3 chemo’s without incident 🙂 Becca will go back in on Friday for her next Methotrexate chemo.

The boys are doing well. Ricky is out of school on a break. Michael is still enjoying playing with his cousins and neighbors. Cameron is just being himself 🙂 He is starting to walk now, so it’s only a matter of time before he is into everything! But you have to love him.

I just want to give a personal thanks to all of you that have stayed with us. I was able to meet with several of you this weekend and it meant a lot to hear all the kind words you have for our family. Know that we appreciate the help and rely on your strength, prayers, and relationships to help us get through these difficult times. Please continue to pray for Becca. We love you.

Hang in there Guys! It is so nice to know that the end to this madness is in sight! Only three more to go…. Fantastic! What does that translate to in days and weeks?
Glad to hear the kids hanging in there relatively well. It must be hard on them too, but you guys are phenomenal in how you are pulling through as a family!
We continue to think of and pray for you. Please continue to keep us updated! Love to all of you!

Hi guys,
I saw Randy from a distance at church last Sunday but didn’t get a chance to say hello. It was nice to see your smiling face. Thank you for keeping us updated on how things are progressing. We miss you and keep your family in our prayers at all times. Keep hanging in there. You are all so awesome!!!

We’ll keep Rebecca in our prayers even more than usual this week as she prepares for her next chemo treatment. She is just amazing in her strength and tenacity. Becca, you are such a wonderful example to everyone around you. Keep up the good work and HANG IN THERE! You can do this.

Love,

Hello Gibbons Family,

This is Mrs. D (Kindergarten) from Thompson Elementary in Carrollton. Wanted to let you know that Ms. Bode told me about you all. Wanted to send a note and let you know that I am thinking of your family and praying for your strength. My church prayed for you last night. Tell Ricki I said hello and keep smiling.

Love, Strength, and Peace,

I’m prayer for extra strong kidneys right now for Becca. There is something in this experience that will make you all grow. Stay strong and straight.
