Day 314

Becca is doing really well this morning! They are still working on her blood pressure, but it has come up a lot since yesterday. The physical therapists just finished working with her. She was able to stand up out of bed and with the use of a walker, stroll out of her room and make a lap! Becca is doing so well and fighting so hard. She continues to say “I have a high pain tolerance and I’m doing this for my family.” We love her so much!

Another update later…

Randy and Becca,

We have followed you throughout this whole thing and have kept you all in our prayers. I’m so glad that the surgery seems successful. We are keeping Becca in our prayers and are asking for specific blessings in her behalf. The Lord loves you both and will take care of her. Pass on our love.
As always, Beth and Dan

You are so AWESOME, Rebecca! What a fighter, what an inspiration, what an unbelievably special person you are! You are my hero! You have suffered with such dignity. This whole thing has truly made me hug everyone in my family just a little bit tighter because you never know what can happen. I have gained such a testimony of faith in our Heavenly Father, the power of prayer and the need to always try to have a good attitude no matter what poo-poo is flung my way!!! I love you and your family so much. I have truly loved being there with you and your special boys. Thank you for the chance to serve!
All my love,
Aunt Lisa ;D

Awesome news!
Becca, We are so proud of you. You have been in many prayers & with the guiding strength of God and your family are now on to an equally amazing recovery.
Just so you know, we’ve all tried to take good care of Randy when he’s around the office, or when he lets us 🙂
He has amazing strength and has been overwhelmingly positive throughout each of the past 314 days. I admire him greatly and consider him one of my closest friends.
Look forward to seeing your family back in Texas and hope to get to know you better.
All my love and prayers,
Jena

I first met Rebecca only a few days before surgery. I obviously dont know her or the family, but I immediately felt a warm connection from Rebecca and was compeled by her story.

I have been reading the blog all day and am so amazed at the courage, strength, and love you all have maintained during this emotional and stressful time! As I read the blog I couldn’t help but feel like I had become a part of this amazing family and found myself overwhellmed with emotion! I am so excited to read that Rebecca is doing so well and is free from cancer! Good luck as you continue your jouney!

Hi Randy & Becca,
I know you guys thought I’d given up checking this blog. Not the case-I’ve been reading it but don’t often put in comments. Well now is the time to start that up again!!!

Becca- you must be on cloud nine and I know everyone in your family and circle of friends and in your church have prayed until knuckles start to hurt, since I know you guys are that loved. I’ve been right there with them.

Becca my friend- YOU HAVE BEAT IT!

I am soooo happy for you and cannot wait for you to get back to the south for one more of our blazing hot summers!
I can’t wait to see the next update from Randy- who has been such a rock for you during this entire journey. But now it finally is ending! Praise the Lord

Can’t wait to see you again-chasing after the boys!
Much Love,
Sherry
