I never had a trampoline when I grew up. Randy did, do we had to get one. I always waned one though. Well the boys love their trampoline. The other morning the boys decided it would be fun to play with baseballs on the trampoline. I, being a mom, was worried that someone would get hurt. Randy reassured me that the balls weren’t too hard:)
The boys had lost of fun with them. I love it when all three of our boys are actually playing together nicely. Just as that thought entered my mind, I heard screaming!!! I ran to see what was the problem and saw this:
The boys were being tackled by Cameron. Oh man Cameron is strong too. I had to run and get the camera to capture the cuteness. I know the boys will regret teaching Cameron how to wrestle when Cameron is older and bigger than them. But for now it is fun and cute until someone gets hurt.
Randy and I received some Maverick tickets last Thursdays preseason game. We were so excited to have them. It has been awhile since I’ve been to a game. If I recall right, it was before I was sick that I have been to a game. Anyways, we had a lot of fun. I learned a lot from this date too. First: My body no longer can seat in those itty-bitty seats that long. For everyone else that has a tail bone it may not be a problem, but for me who doesn’t have that support, OUCH!Second: I live a sheltered life. The couple sitting behind us spoke a few choice words that I haven’t heard since I worked outside of the home! I just sat there wondering if he was ever going to say anything nice. He didn’t.Third: I now know that next time Randy gets any tickets, there are for him and the kids or a friend. I think as much as Randy loves going out to these occasions with me, he would most likely like to have some other company. I will say though, if it is a football or a hockey game. I may just have to bring a pillow to sit on:)
I finally finished my fun project for Christmas. I started this Advent calendar about a month ago and this morning and I finally finished it!!! I love having kids in school:) My kids keep asking me if there was any candy in it yet. Of course not, if there was it would be eaten before December 1st! I think it is going to be so fun to have an advent calendar that is reusable every year:)
I am so excited I finished it before Christmas too. I have to say that doing it at my Crop for the Cure event on Saturday helped too. Everyone there was admiring it too.
I love other peoples approval of stuff. Sometimes you just don’t know if it really looks good or if you put the right colors together….I could go on and on. I was just so happy people actually like it and my kids LOVE it! Here it is!!
By the way Randy took Ricky’s stitched out on Sunday while I was sleeping:( We were at a friends house for dinner that evening and I asked the husband if he knew how to take stitches out…Here is how it all went:
Ricky: Um mom, Dad took them out already.
Mom: When!
Dad: While you were sleeping.
Mom: Why didn’t you wake me up! I really wanted to watch!
Dad: Well Ricky was really nervous. He only wanted me to be in there. He didn’t even want Michael. I thought you would be impressed?
Mom: I am totally upset with both of you. I was there for Ricky through all the surgery’s and I have been totally nice about everything. The least you both could have done was to wake me up so I could watch.
Then the conversation was done. I ate my dinner and tried to change the subject. I just could get over the fact that he did it while I was sleeping! The lesson I learned is to not nap on Sunday’s anymore. I might miss more excited stuff. The scar on his wrist looks really neat, but his elbow just looks like a bug bite with a scab. Today was the first day Ricky went to school without any wrapping on his arm too. He forgot to wrap it this morning. When we were walking to the bus stop he remembered it but it was too late. He was afraid that kids would run away from him because it looks gross. I told him that is crazy, you can barely see them anyway. He seems to be doing good!
I had the best weekend. It started Friday night when Randy and I went on a huge group date to a shooting range. We are so lucky to have a family in our ward that owns a shooting range and it totally amazing at what they do too. They travel all over in competitions. I haven’t been able to meet Wendy’s husband before Friday night. He is gone so much on the weekends that we don’t’ see him much. I have to say though, they make a very cute couple. Anyways, I had so much fun. At first it is a little intimidating, but when everyone else is new at this, it helps out. Wendy helped me shoot the shot gun. WOW! It does have a kickback, but with the help of Wendy, I didn’t even get a bruise or a sore shoulder!:) Thanks Wendy!!! After the semi-auto shot gun we went to shoot the Beretta CX4 with the little red lens that helps you see where you are shooting. (probably my favorite!) and then the Beretta 9mm pistol. Randy has a friend at SWA that loaned us three different types of guns to shoot. We only shot this one. I cant’ remember what it is called. It probably some kind of pistol. Anyways, we got to actually shoot at the person shape target. As you can tell I do not have the right lingo, but hopefully I will catch on when Randy and I go more often. I actually shot most of the targets too!!! I LOVED THIS!!!! I hope we can go about once a month or every other month. It was way to fun. By the way, Randy really knows how to shoot good. I was impressed:) Here are a lot of fun pictures….
I know this is a bad focus, but I had to show proof that I actually hit it!!!
Also many of you don’t know this but I went to a Hormone Therapy doctor and he took blood to find out what is wrong with me. Well there is a lot wrong with my hormone levels. They are so low in three different areas. He gave me a compound prescription and I took it Friday night and YEAH, it works. I feel like a new mom again. I finally have the energy I needed so badly. I also just feel good all around. Whoo-Hoo!!!!!
Then on Saturday we had Michael’s soccer game. He didn’t want to play at first but after he got in there he really played!!! He played with these two other boys, Alec and Matthew. They worked perfectly together. He scored two goals!!! That made his day. They played this team that last season beat them and were a little on the rough side, but they WON this time! Usually when he plays with some of the other boys, they end up taking the ball from Michael. That upsets him, but we always tell him that without him getting the ball from the other players, they wouldn’t make the goal. Michael’s coach is the best too. Her name is Becca too:) Michael was born to play soccer. He is so good. He just gets in there and gets the ball. I’m telling you, Michael is one of a kind. I love my boy.
Then of course it was conference weekend so we watched conference on our TV. I cant just sit there and watch so I went through all the kids toys and cleaned them out. I threw away some that weren’t worthy to give away and then I gave some to one of my friends that has little ones. I love to clean out stuff. You get to see the results. Then I also started to get my Christmas Advent calender project done. I can’t wait to finish that.
We also had some friends come over for dinner Sunday night. They are friends in our ward that just live down the street from us. It’s really sad to say that even though they live so close we have never had them over. We all had a blast. Ricky played so well with there little 2yr old boy, Guy. Cameron also played with Guy a lot too. It was so cute to see them interact. I found out that Guy loves Elmo just like Cameron does. They even have the same Elmo costume to wear for Halloween!!! I can’t wait to see them both together. We have to get a picture of that!
Now onto my VERY busy week. I am so glad I had a great weekend. Thanks to Randy. I love my husband:)
This is another one of my family members that can’t stop getting Cameron’s kisses!
I am a little late writing about August stuff. I guess with Ricky’s broken arm event, I should be behind.
Smile!
Anyways, Cameron and Aunt Kristy really had fun while I took pictures. I am so glad she loves Cameron as much as I do. My Aunt has been through a lot these past few years, especially loosing her husband, that I think Cameron refills her jar. I know he loves kissing her, and putting his hand down her shirt! (that’s a whole another story with pics that I’ll have to share. It is so cute!)
He won’t stop kissing!!!! Whoo Whoo!!
I really look up to my Aunt too. She is so beautiful. Her kids are very cute too. It’s so neat having an Aunt that is close in age. I loved that when we were younger, everyone would think we were sisters because we look so much alike. It was fun spending time with her. I really pray that she will find that right someone that will love her like Joel did. Aunt Kristy is a one of a kind. I can’t wait to visit with her again and see how the dating is going. I am so glad I am not in that world anymore. I appreciate having my Randy around.
