Going back to Black Friday…

I just have to post these pictures now that Christmas is over and I won’t be spoiling any ones presents!

So I have to say that I don’t mind braving the crowds and getting some good deals. I am almost addicted to it. There is nothing like getting a killer deal on stuff. Carrie and Elizabeth joined me in the fun. We first went to Toy’s R Us. NEVER again will I do that! I really mean NEVER! The crowd was terrible. You couldn’t even get down the isle. That is when I say that there is nothing worth that crowd. I was bummed though. I really wanted to get the boys a skateboard ramp. But oh well. It didn’t happen. So needless to say we had a lot of time to kill.

We went to 7-Eleven and got some chips and a Slurpee. Oh was it good. It kept us up for sure. Then we just sat in Sears parking lot so we could be the first ones to get the $20 down comforters. And I can say WE DID IT! I am very excited that I was able to get a killer deal. There also was hardly any people there too. It was so nice. This is what my car looked like when we all tried getting our stuff in!

We still have some stuff in the cart to squeeze in!

Oh wait we have MORE in another cart too!! I wasn’t sure how we were going to fit it all in.

Oh did we use EVERY inch of space:)

Carrie even had to sqeeze in. Poor Elizabeth in the back. She would be protected if we got in a accident though:p

We had to then drive home, park the truck and get into Carrie’s truck to then go back out for Kohl’s. All that Randy wanted this year was clothes. He hasn’t bought new shirts in a long time. So we then headed back out. Kohl’s was awesome. When we got there there was long lines to check out, but when we were ready to check out we walked right up to the register. It was fun. We then headed to get something to eat for breakfast and then home to sleep.

I am very grateful that my sweet hubby supports me with this addiction I have. This addiction doesn’t just happen on black Friday, it happens all year long. I am always trying to find the best deals on stuff. Needless to say we are all happy with our new comforters. We are staying warm now!

Going back in time…

I just have to post this event. We went roller skating with some friends of ours. I wanted to make it a theme night, so I asked everyone to dress in the 80’s attire:) Oh boy was it fun. My friends daughter, Jessie, did my hair and make-up. She did great! We sure got a lot of looks, but also a lot of complements. Some cute girls asked to take our picture. They thought we looked awesome. I was recognized by a girl that is in Ricky’s class at school. I felt bad, but she thought I looked really cool so it was ok. Thank goodness. All I need to do is ruin Ricky’s rep at school:)

I have to say too that I CANNOT skate. I really thought that I could, but oh man was I bad. It was quit funny watching me I’m sure. Randy held me up most of the time. Then Emily took me to the practice rink and helped me out. She also had me trade for some roller blades. They were a little easier. I so need to practice. I would love to go skating a little more often.

All in all it was a lot of fun. Thanks ladies!!!
