Day 39 PM
Just a late night update, since I can’t sleep much (they wake us up about every two hours). I was looking over the last few entries and I missed some key advancements.
First of all, Ricky had a great day at school on Monday. I’m not sure if he was nervous, but I was! He is having a good time in his new class here, but still says that it’s not Texas. He has a friend who lives next door that is in his class. They are able to walk to school together, which helps out a lot.
The other big event I failed to post was Becca was able to stand unassisted for a minute yesterday. We were all in shock and she had a grin the size of Texas on her face. It was awesome! I know she is going to give it all she has so that she can ‘get out of here’ as soon as she can. She has a LONG way to go, don’t get me wrong, but the desire is one of the most difficult things to have, from what we are told. Becca has it 🙂

I am so happy to hear that Becca was standing. I am so proud of her strength and determination to ‘get back on her feet’. We sure do love and miss you in Texas. Hi sweetie! We are so happy that Becca’s transport to the LDS Hospital went well. What a surprise and great accomplishment that Becca stood on her own!!! Little steps, great leaps in faith! You and Becca are so extraordinary!!! You are such an example for all those who come in contact with you!!
