Thursday

Becca is doing well this morning. She has a spinal tap sometime today, as well as more stitches will be removed. The goal now seems to be get her physically better so that she can be transported upright. It may be a few weeks, but we have some time until they are going to start the radiation and chemotherapy. She is holding up, some days are a little rough. She is trying so hard to recover quickly that I think she feels down when she can’t physically do it. But that’s ok, Becca is a fighter! We are hanging in there.

Randy,
I love the picture of Becca, her smile warms my heart. Please tell her how darling she is and what an inspiration she is…as are you.

You are in our prayers as you make the decision to stay or go.
We know from personal experience the Lord will guide you where you need to be. After Erik completed his MBA we began praying about which job opportunity to take. There were two jobs close to family and one in Michigan. Of course we wanted to be close to family and it was difficult to pray and not let our ‘wants’ get in the way of the Lord’s will. We felt strongly that we were to go to Michigan. Five years later Emily was born and we found she had a rare medical condition. We soon realized why we had been prompted to move to Michigan so many years ago. One out of the four doctors in the nation who specialized in Emily’s condition was located at the hospital only 30 minutes from our home. The Lord truly guided us where we needed to be to get our daughter the medical attention she needed.

As many other friends have said, we too will do anything we can to help take care of things no matter what your decision. We are ready and willing.

Our love and prayers are with each of you. Amy Binns
