Life update and New Addition!

I know it has been awhile since we’ve updated ya’ll. Things here are going great. I am now off the pain meds. I can now drive everywhere. My freedom is finally here. Ricky started school this week. He is in 3rd grade now. He loves riding the bus with our neighbor, Jack. I am able to do pretty much anything again. It’s hard to believe that a year ago I was a quad. I think I got off pretty easy compared to some people. I have a new calling in church now. I am the visiting teaching coordinator. It’s fun. I stay busy with the boys of course. I think it is a good thing that we have a house with stairs. It sure has strengthened my legs for me. Since I’ve been home I’ve had a lot of friends supporting me. I am blessed. Here are a few pictures. We went to a birthday party with Michaels friend Vanessa. She wanted a pony carraige ride. It was so cute. I couldn’t believe they painted their hair and feet! The other pics are of our newest addition to our family. Randy really didn’t want to get a dog, Ricky is allergic to cats, so we agreed on Turtles. Our friend told us about the mall that sold these little turtles. They are so little! I just make sure the boys wash very well if htey touch them. I’ve heard they carry a disease. We’ll be careful. Have fun!

Utah Visit Overview

Becca made it home safely yesterday from Utah. She went to have her quarterly scans done. The scans came back clean, she is still cancer free! It was a quick visit but was able to spend time with some of the family while she was there. I was able to spend time with the boys at home and get some things done.

Now that Becca has been back to Utah, I will post some pictures. She wanted to keep it a surprise on her first visit.

Thank you all for keeping up with us and staying tuned. I will do better now on keeping up with the progress.

Love you all!

Healing Update

Becca is doing well. She continues to decline on the medication, which has helped with the overall recovery. She will go back for scans next month and for general follow up. Becca continues to have numbness from the neck down, but we hope that it will eventually heal.

The boys are doing well and have enjoyed the summer break. Ricky will go back to school soon, which will leave Becca without an extra special helper. He has done so well taking care of his brothers, she will miss it. Michael and Cameron are great and keeping us all very busy.

Overall, for now we just continue to pray for her healing and that we can continue grow together.

Please keep up with us, this is life changing opportunity! Keep the faith 🙂

Healing

Becca is still on the healing train. She has done well the last few weeks. Becca is taking care of the boys during the day and able to do just about everything. She does get a bit tired, so she needs a nap here and there. About the only main thing she can’t do is drive. But we are getting around that. I have moved up from nurse to chauffeur:)

The boys are doing really well, enjoying the time together and the summer. The weird thing is it has been raining almost every day for the last three weeks! Poor guys can’t even go out to play on their toys much. But I’m not complaining, I don’t need to water the lawn!

We love you all, please keep praying for her healing, we probably have a year to go!

Home Time

Well now that she’s officially home and cancer free, I don’t need to put in a day! Becca is doing well and everyone is adjusting. She is able to take care of the boys during the day, but boy do they wear her out 🙂 But who would ask anything less from three growing, active boys?

Becca continues to have pain and nerve pain, but they are working with her. Until then she is unable to drive, but it’s amazing what you can get done nowadays. She has had an amazing attitude and is ready to get back into the swing of things.

We continue to pray for healing, for both body and spirit. We can’t thank you enough.

Keep the faith!
