Day 222

Becca was able to come home on Sunday evening from her last chemo. She wasn’t feeling too well, but managed to stay out of the hospital. Becca did go back in yesterday for her next round, which is a two day chemo. We are hoping she will be released today, but this is the one that makes her sick for a week afterwards. Becca asked for a little more anti-nausea medication, so hopefully that will help her.

The good news is she will have a couple of weeks off after this round. They need her to get stronger for the last few chemo’s. After that, she just has the surgery. We are getting closer to the end and it sure helps keep up the good attitude!

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. Please continue to pray. And as it says in Mark 5:36 “Be not afraid, only Believe.” We believe.

Day 218

Becca is doing well. She was almost allowed to come home yesterday, which would have been a record. She should come home today. The chemo went well and she feels pretty good. Hopefully we can spend the day as a family and enjoy just being together.

The boys are well and doing good in school. Please continue to pray for us, we love you all.

Day 214

Happy Valentines Day!

Becca had a good few days since her blood infusion. It’s amazing how much the body needs a little oxygen to have energy. She will be going in for her chemo today, which will last a few days. It’s the methotrexate, which is a one day chemo, but she can’t leave until her levels are low enough. This takes her a couple of days.

All in all she is doing well and doing a lot with the boys. She is also starting to scrapbook again, which she loves. It’s nice to see her able to get back into the swing of things.

Please continue to pray for her, not only that this is a ‘quick’ chemo trip, but that the tumor will continue to shrink. This marathon is entering into the final leg…. we almost have it won!

Day 209

Becca went to go to the Huntsman today, but they are sending her home. Her platelets are way too low and they are going to infuse her. This will back her up until Wednesday of next week to start her next chemo round. Becca is frustrated, but understands.

Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Day 207

Becca isn’t doing too well the past few days. She is very neutropenic, so they are trying to keep her out of the hospital. She is scheduled to go in for chemo on Friday, but she has to be doing better before they will admit her. Hopefully she will get better soon as they have her on some medication to bring up her red/white blood counts.

Please continue to pray for her and that she will recover soon. We love you all.
